THE PLUG HOLE is a specialist through deck rope guide designed, to provide limited, localised abrasion protection for a rope which is rigged to pass through a steel deck at 90° to the deck surface. It is not intended to be used as a rope deviation, to change the direction of a rope or provide protection from hot surfaces.
After use the PLUG HOLE may be removed and the PLUG used to fill the hole, maintaining the integrity of the deck surface. The PLUG has been designed and manufactured to provide the smallest possible protrusion from the deck when installed, reducing the potential of trips.
The maximum static load on a rope running through the PLUG HOLE must not exceed 250kg.
